NEWP Membership and Renewal Information

The North East Wisconsin Paddlers, Inc. club is a Paddle America Club of the American Canoe Association (ACA). NEW Paddlers processes memberships for ACA as part of club membership. For those members who join the ACA, NEW Paddlers will send the ACA's portion of your membership fee to the ACA when you send your completed membership form, ACA liability waiver and dues to the current NEW Paddlers Treasurer. The current NEWP Treasurer and mailing address is listed below.


To become a NEW Paddlers member or to renew your NEW Paddlers membership, complete the required forms, compute your membership fee, and send the forms with payment to the the address below. See below to determine which forms to complete.

  1. Member Information. Complete the member information section of the Member Information and Fees form. Be sure to mark the membership type (Individual or Family). If you are registering a family membership please be sure to complete the family member information section for all individuals. Family memberships include up to two adults and any children under 18 years of age in a household. (Please print clearly)
  2. Complete the Dues and Fees section by computing your membership fee.
  3. Liability waiver. If you are joining or renewing your ACA membership YOU MUST COMPLETE THE LIABILITY WAIVER.
  4. ACA/SEI fee, in addition to your individual or family membership, this fee is required to keep ACA instructor certifications current. (You know who you are.)

Special Note to Existing ACA Members: If you are already an ACA member, membership dues for the North East Wisconsin Paddlers, Inc. are $10 for the balance of the current year. When you renew your membership for the next year, be sure to identify yourself as a North East Wisconsin Paddlers, Inc. member. Since this club is an ACA Paddle America Club, your individual membership dues are discounted $10 - ($30 instead of $40) which makes the club membership free!

Please be aware that special event fees (such as the National Pool Slalom or Wausau Open Water use) may be charged by the entities operating or sponsoring the event. Special event fees are not covered under NEW Paddlers membership unless otherwise stated.

Due to the significant time and expense of notifying every member when his/ her membership expires, NEW Paddlers will not send renewal notices. It is up to YOU to remember to renew your NEW Paddlers membership each year. All memberships run through December 31; renewals begin January 1 of each year.

To renew your membership, complete the NEW Paddlers Membership / Waiver Application in full. Be sure to include all names, signatures and dates of birth for all family members (if applying for a family membership). Be sure to include the appropriate fees and send with the completed form to:
