    A group of passionate paddlers in the greater Milwaukee area who particularly enjoy and promote Wisconsin whitewater paddling.
  • MadCity Paddlers
    The MadCity Paddlers, with a home base of Madison, Wisconsin, is a club devoted to pursuing paddlesports of every sort. Members organize a wide variety of club trips for flatwater canoeing and canoe touring, sea kayaking, and whitewater paddling in open and closed boats.
  • NE Wisconsin Sea Kayakers
    NE Wisconsin Sea kayakers is a website maintained by the Lakeshore Sea Kayakers, who are an informal group of coastal kayakers, with events and paddles in the Two Rivers, Wisconsin area.

    Pure Water Paddlers is a group of canoe and kayak enthusiasts around the West Central Wisconsin area.  Most of our paddling takes place within a reasonable distance of Eau Claire, WI and Chippewa Falls, WI.  Our goal is to provide a wide variety of paddling experiences for paddlers of all skill levels.

    The Friends of the Fox is an advocacy group for the lower and upper reaches of the Fox River in northeast Wisconsin. One of their current projects is development of portage trails and landings around the Fox River locks as a first step toward development of a water trail.

  • Cold Water Boot Camp
    Cold Water Boot Camp USA takes eight hardy volunteers from across America and puts them into cold water to learn what really happens.  The instructor is Dr. Gordon Giesbrecht, professor of thermophysiology at the University of Manitoba and an expert in the study of the efforts of cold water on the human body.  Produced by the National Water Safety Congress, the video discusses three effects of cold water immersion - cold shock, cold incapcitation and hypothermia as well as valuable information on how to better survive a fall into cold water.  Cold Water Boot Camp was award NASBLA'S Seal of Safe Boating Practices.
