Women on the Water

NEWP hosts a special coastal kayaking workshop for women, titled WOW (Women On the Water) from time to time in various lakeshore locations. Usually planned for Lake Michigan, past WOW outings have been held in Kewaunaee, Two Rivers and Manitowoc. Participants are able to experience a variety of paddle conditions in these locations, with easy access to protected harbor or river options if Lake Michigan istoo challenging. Registration is limited to just twelve women so group leaders can help with paddling skill development.

This event is not offered every year and plans for 2012 are still not finalized, so check back later in the spring.
