NEWP most recently hosted a special coastal kayaking workshop for women,
titled WOW for Women On the Water in Kewaunaee, WI, in 2009. With
access to Lake Michigan and the Kewaunee River, participants were able
to experience a variety of paddle conditions. Registration is limited to
just twelve women and focuses on paddling skill development. The 2009
WOW event was held on Sunday, June 14th, with 12 participants enjoying a
beautiful day on the water.
