Wondering where to paddle? Where to buy paddle gear? Information on local paddle groups, workshops or symposia? Check out the NEWP Paddler Information Guide! This item is ALWAYS a "work-in-progress," so please let us know if updates, corrections and additions!

Buying or selling paddling gear? Due to short-term nature of classifieds, and the of keeping them current, we do not post items for sale or purchase on this site, other than occasional sale of club boats and gear. Normally, we heartily recommend http://www.craigslist.com or http://www.paddling.net/ for boat and gear exchange!

About NEWP: This is the web home of the North East Wisconsin Paddlers Inc. (NEWP). NEWP, formerly known as Green Bay Paddlers United, is an ACA Paddle America Club with members from throughout north east Wisconsin and beyond. NEWP is formally organized as a social club (501(c)7).

The goal of the North East Wisconsin Paddlers, Inc. is to encourage and advance paddle sport
education and safety. Whether it is whitewater, surf, canoes, stand-up boards or kayaks, we look to bring together like-minded individuals with whom we can share our passion for paddling.

Check out the rest of our website for information on our club - who we are and what we do! Several of our members have earned certification as whitewater or coastal sea kayak instructors and enjoy sharing their knowledge and experience with others. We offer classes in several northeast Wisconsin citites from November through April and several other activities or events through the paddle season. Many of our members also engage in informal weekly paddles in various locations, on inland lakes or onto Lake Michigan from Two Rivers or Sheboygan launch sites.

Check us out here -  then come along for a safe, great time on the water!

NEWP is proud to be a Paddle America Club of the American Canoe Association (ACA) and affiliated with American Whitewater.
